This is my first publicly-available excerpt from SIDEWINDERS. As you'll discover, it's from the point of view of a character other than Kandri Hinjuman. One of the best aspects of writing Book II has been the chance to spend time inside the minds of people who have to deal with Kandri and Mektu and the upheaval they're bringing into the world.
